Welcome to one of the finest collections of classic, antique, and vintage vehicles in Canada South! You will see both original and fully restored hallmark vehicles from the 19th and 20th century, from horse drawn wagons to a 1992 Dodge Viper. You will see a full representation of the vehicles that were made and driven right here in Southwestern Ontario throughout the 20th century. You will see race cars, hot rods, cabriolets, open touring, early brass era, roadsters, convertibles, hard tops, pick up trucks, tractors, wagons, motorcycles, bicycles, penny farthings, and vehicles of all sorts.

We offer guided tours with a fascinating insight on what came before as we peer through decades of the motor industry.

See our Emergency Medical Services Museum located on site in a new and modern 5,000 sq ft building displaying ambulances and other emergency medical vehicles, switch boards, equipment, sirens, lights, uniforms, etc., from the 1940s up to the 1980s.

A very unique experience awaits you. We believe that this is the only museum of its type anywhere in Canada. Open year round with the days and hours the same as our Transportation Museum. Located on a beautifully wooded lot, in our village, with a patio and outdoor benches, etc.

Motorcycle Museum

The motorcycle exhibit and facade inside the Canadian Transportation Museum was conceived in 1999 by the Two Wheels Only Foundation of Ontario Riders and after ten years of fundraising we started construction with the support and assistance of the Windsor Chapter of the Harley Davidson Owners Group(H.O.G).

The exhibit exemplifies the history of motorcycling in Ontario with a Specific focus on Essex County. The facade is a replica of the Windsor Motorcycles store on Howard Ave, during 1940’s. All funding for the motorcycle museum comes from an Annual Motorcycle Draw, Annual Iron Horse Golf Open and donations. Vintage motorcycles on display are on loan to us for exhibit by local collectors.

We encourage anyone with an interest in the motorcycle paraphernalia to come and view our collection. We are always on the look – out for more vintage bikes to add to our collection.
