DESCRIPTION:Mural Unveiling – All Are Welcome \nThe Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village invites the public to a special event celebrating the unveiling of two murals\, created by artists from Walpole Island First Nation as part of the Gordie Howe International Bridge project. These powerful works\, originally displayed at the bridge site during its construction\, are now permanently installed at the museum. \nWhile both murals being unveiled were created by artists from Walpole Island First Nation\, the larger project also included contributions and collaboration from Caldwell First Nation\, highlighting the cultural significance and shared heritage of the region’s Indigenous communities. \nThis is a free\, public event — all are welcome to attend. \nRestoration and installation of the mural were made possible through a generous grant from the\nWindsorEssex Community Foundation. \nMay 31 2025 at 10.00am
