Members
The Historic Vehicle
Society of Ontario (HVSO) has been in existence since 1954
and continues to operate as the Canadian Transportation
Museum & Heritage Village. Our current Roster shows over 130
current members who support the history of transportation
and early living in Canada South. In exchange for a minimum
number of volunteer hours (which can be shared by spouses),
members receive free admission to the museum, village, EMS
Museum, and outdoor shows as well as a Gift Shop discount,
receipt of the monthly newsletter, opportunity to run for
the Board of Directors and a great Pot Luck dinner each
December. Please

Membership Application Form.
Volunteers
The Canadian Transportation
Museum & Heritage Village is a great place to meet new
people and expand your social circle all while providing
a great service to your community! Your help to preserve the
past of Canada South for present and future generations will
be greatly appreciated by the staff and visitors but it will
also prove to be a very rewarding experience for you. Please
note that volunteers do not need to be members of the HVSO.
We have many opportunities for
volunteers of all ages from the education program to special
events to working on vehicles in the garage and everything
in between. If you have a few hours or a few days a month
and are interested, please
download,
print and fill out the volunteer form and return it to The
Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village. You
will then be contacted by our Volunteer Coordinator and
given a tour of the facilities to see what activities
interest you and what your availability is. Opportunities
are very flexible. Volunteers who work a four hour shift
receive a free breakfast or lunch in our 50s Diner.

If you have any questions
about becoming either a member or a volunteer, you may
contact the office at 519-776-6909 or email
info@ctmhv.com. Thank You!
